INFORMAZIONI GENERALI

  • in base al soggetto che li installa, a seconda che si tratti dello stesso gestore del sito visitato (c.d. "cookie di prima parte") ovvero di un soggetto diverso (c.d. "cookie di terza parte");

GENERAL INFORMATION

What are cookies and what are they used for

A cookie is a text file that a website visited by the user sends to their terminal (computer, mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet), where it is stored to be retransmitted to that site during a subsequent visit to the site itself.

Cookies are distinguished from each other:

  • based on the subject that installs them, depending on whether it is the manager of the visited site (so-called "first-party cookies") or a different subject (so-called "third-party cookies");
  • based on the purpose of each cookie: some cookies allow better navigation, remembering some user choices, such as language (so-called "technical cookies"), other cookies allow tracking user navigation also to send advertising and/or offer services in line with their preferences (so-called "profiling cookies").

Only profiling cookies require the user's prior consent for their use.

The Data Controller is solely responsible for the first-party cookies it installs on the Website.

In the "First-party technical cookies" section, you can view the types of first-party technical cookies issued by the Website.
